Something I thought I had lost during a hard drive crash. Turns out I saved it to CD.
Written back in 2000. Myself and 2 very good friends I toured with in the 80's. A quick remix.

I wrote this song in 1978. I am not much of a songwriter IMO. Tell me what you think.

The Dragon

Verse 1:
The room grows dark, the candles are lit.
The boxes of sound, cry out musical witt.
With power and feeling, the sounds fill the air.
I hear voices crying, they are crying beware

Verse 2:
The essence of time it is now it is here
To you in my music, the meaning is clear.
The candles still flicker, odd shadows on the wall
The dragon grieves music, with thought and appall

Chorus:
The dragon’s amongst us and for those who didn’t feel
The funny side of life know that that is real
The dragon’s amongst us and if you don’t allready know
Watch it carefully, don’t get caught in its flow
